Dündar Çorap took his first step on his socks journey in 1978 at an inn in Eminönü/Yeşildirek. In those years, socks were worn by sewing and patching, we bought second-quality goods from companies that produced socks, had them repaired in a workshop and sold them in the market. In the following years, we were not satisfied with the market and opened our own store and established our own business.

By collecting and stocking more goods, we included Anatolian and Eastern bloc countries in our own market and our customers. By the 90s, we realized that we could not grow with only second quality goods and we started contract manufacturing by purchasing yarn. By 2001, Dündar Çorap has become a company that has made a name for itself in the domestic market. Later, we realized that we could not achieve high quality and branding with contract manufacturing, and we started our own production in our own building in Avcılar/Firuzköy by purchasing Lonati brand machines.

Dundar Socks has become one of Turkey's most popular companies. We almost doubled our capacity by putting it on the factory we established in 2001 and we moved to our new building in 2014.

Mr. Dundar Topcu says the following about the secret of our success;
